I look around in utter despair and sorrow. The world is full of stupid, dumb and ignorant heads. Einstein was right. There is no limit to human stupidity. Most of the people around me prove him right every single day. This is going to be a long rant. This is going to hurt you ( if you are stupid). This is world as i view from my vantage point. The sheer lack of knowledge and moral values in people is alarming. The rabbit hole of ignorance and selfishness blossoms piercing millions of innocent hearts and learned minds everyday. This madness needs to be stopped. This plethora of stupidity will otherwise drive people like me crazy who long for logic in everything that happens.
In my view, three things play role in the overall product of your personality.
1- KNOWLEDGE
2- EXPERIENCES
3- ENVIRONMENT.
Lets start with knowledge. The stupid reptiles i am talking about have never read a book in their lives. Their knowledge of life is shallow at best. When they gathered enough discipline to complete a book they turned to novels written by more stupid people who somehow learnt to articulate words into sentences, They have never watched a TED talk. They believe Newton "invented" gravity. They skip discovery channel faster than they change their sex partners. The only use of a newspaper that they know is to wipe their asses. They do not ask questions. They settle for what they know. They never had any moral education. They think that they can do whatever pleases them. Their panorama of thoughts is so constrained that anything a wise man speaks is pure bullocks to them. They live and die in a pithole of ignorance, hatred and jealousy. They cannot stand anyone knowing more than them. They do not appreciate true wisdom. They think philosophy is for the hippies. They believe psychology is a hoax. They have zero respect for anybody.
When i am conversing with them, i feel like i am talking to a rock. They try to win arguments by logic more stupid than them. They think raising the tone of their voice can win them arguments. Its better to keep quiet and let people think that you are stupid than to open your mouth and prove them right. They dont get this quote at all. Deep conversations are far from their horizons of intellect. They cannot appreciate art or beauty. They think people who think about life are psychos.
Experiences mould your soul. I really wonder about the life experiences of these shitheads which turned them into such pity assholes. I feel sorry for them. I wish life had been fair to them. I wish they had learnt from their experiences. When i see someone not learning from his mistakes, i believe he/she deserves whatever has befallen them. They seek pleasurable experiences. They do not want to work hard and experience an ounce of pain. They look for short term fixes. They are worshipers of the now. They sacrifice their future and present worshiping gods of the days gone by. Dude life was not fair to you. But atleast try to change what has happened to you.
I have seen that a stupid person is never alone. He has a pack of similar minded souls that are no better than a herd of sheep. And this unity of stupidity is the strongest bond I have ever seen. They are ready to do anything to prove their point. They try to threaten the existence of the wise. They somehow believe that the differently opiniated are their enemies. They do not have the balls to handle criticism. The herd mentality knows no bounds. They surround themselves with stupidity. They surround themselves with like minded stupid people who reinforce their false beliefs. Their environment is something i could not imagine surviving in for a minute.
By all this, i dont mean that everyone is stupid. I have met people who have knowledge, values and personality, people who are capable of entertaining different thoughts and ponder the meaning of life. I also dont mean that I am this wise Buddha who has it all figured out and knows better than everyone else.
It just pains my heart that the one who just read an essay by Bertrand Russell, critiqued it in his spare time, read Einstein's biography on breakfast, tried to decipher THE INCEPTION while he was taking a dump, wrote on the philosophy of life when he was just 14 has to go and face this myriad of stupidity every single day. If only you could view and understand this world from my vantage point, you would feel the pain. I am a work in progress. I still have millions of books to read. I have miles to go before i sleep. It just soothes my heart that instead of gathering a herd of friends, i gathered a library of books. My parents taught me moral values better than any religious guru could ever teach. I plan to embark on this lifelong journey of wisdom and excellence. And maybe someday when i achieve enlightenment, your stupidity will stop bothering me. I am just waiting for that day.
